When you search for "UC Browser" you are shown official mini versions of UC Browser. Obviously, the mini version is still and can be downloaded but the original full version of UC browser is deleted from Play Store.
Now, no reason has been announced, no announcement has been made from Google or UC Web on this subject, however, recently a mobile browser owned by Giant Alibaba of Chinese e-commerce came to the Government of India scanner. By investigating the top ministry officials, the government believed that the browser was sending Indian user data to the Chinese user.
This privacy issue came to light in August, at that time some publications had sought clarification from the UC web. The UC Web Spokesperson said: "At UC Web, we take security and privacy very seriously and work hard to comply with local regulations of each region we operate in… We have strong measures in place to encrypt the data while we transmit it." He also said that he has not received any notice from the government.
At the same time, they did not deny that user data was being collected but assured that UC would not break the user's trust in any way. It can very well be that the government has contacted Google on the issue of consideration of the ban. Whatever the case, the app is still invisible in the Play Store. At least this is the case here in India.
If you still want to use UC web services, you are free to download the mini version because it is still there.
